Spider-Man final painting
This painting of Tom Holland™️ Spider-Man used plenty of shade and color to complete. The jacket and pants required careful shading and hilighting to get the proper angles and look.
Axolotl Final Painting
The abilities that shine most brightly through this painting is value, shape, color, and the ability to weird Mr. Meserve our with my water dogs. They are good boys you’re just mean. I really like the way the water came out and I used the finger blending technique to get the color contrast I was looking for.
Acrylic painting self portrait
I’ve never really done an acrylic painting nor have a done a self portrait painting so this was a nice challenge for me. It was nice doing the different value layers and finding those shadows and highlights. It was also nice mixing the paint to find those colors that work and mix together nicely.
I put up the sketch of this a while ago and said I'd put up the colored one when I had a picture of it so here it is.
Her name's Perse and I used a reference for the foal body
i drew a fox
This is what I call a distraction. Hope you like.
Hey I drew a centaur and colored it but I’ll put the colored one up when I actually have a picture of it
Water Color From Landscape photo
Watercolor from Black and White photo
This watercolor piece was made by referencing a black and white photo and turning it into a color piece, focusing on matching shades and highlights rather than exact colors. I really like the way the textures of the rocks turned out and I like the contrasting colors. The water didn't quite turn out the way I wanted but it still looks like rippled waves. I do however wish I could redo the small trees on the rocks and maybe fix the mountains. It would also look good with white highlights in certain areas.
Landscape Watercolor Practice
This painting was made using watercolors and based ona picture of the landscape shown. Of the whole painting I really enjoy the color contrasts of it all. The orange against the reds against the blue makes every part pop in a good way. However, I do not like the way the closest shadow part looks. It doesn't have the right texture of the trees its supposed to be and it seems too purple for the real color it is. If I were to re do this piece, I would spend more time on that area to make sure it looks as good as the rest.
Ink Block Duck project
For this project the tools used were a carved linoleum block and printing ink. The blocks have two layers to show the desperation of colors, the background and the foreground. First the entire block was painted then the back was carved out and a different color was printed on top.
Geometric Fox and Duck
The piece I made was used with forming geometric shapes and hatching line. Hatching was also the main skill that I used. Certain hatching lines in it are farther spaced while others are closer and tighter spaced. The shadows were made with more scribbled linesto give depth to the animals and the space. Overall I enjoy the way the piece turned out. Also I just really love ducks and foxes.
Glasses of Water
The prompt of this drawing was to draw two overlapping glass containers of water. It was difficult to get the water correct but in the end I think it turned out ok. To shade most parts I used a regular HB pencil and used a paper towel to smudge the lead.
Free Choice Drawing
The free choice drawing i decided to do was of my original character, Autumn. She means a lot to me so i figured it would be good if I used her for this project. The mediums are colored pencil and marker
